Lanyard beads by Russian maker Techno Silver feature incredible detail. The bead presented here was created as an homage to Swiss surrealist artist H. R. Giger. The design of the bead is inspired by Giger’s pen and ink artwork “Birth Machine” from 1967. The painting was later recreated as a monumental sculpture that decorates the entrance of the H. R. Giger museum in Gruyères, Switzerland. There is also a limited edition of smaller bronze and aluminum sculptures that are known as Birth Machine Babies.
The brass bead is almost 2 centimeters high and weighs 10 grams. The 6 millimeter hole can fit two strands of 550 paracord.
