In Germanic mythology, a dwarf is a small human-like being that dwells in mountains and in the earth, and is variously associated with mining, metallurgy, blacksmithing and jewelry. Sometimes described as short and ugly, dwarfs continue to appear in pop culture today.

Ukrainian artist Christina Sivenko creates highly detailed lanyard beads that are out of the ordinary and true eye-catchers. One of her decorative beads depicts a dwarf with a helmet and an axe. The hole can easily fit two strands of 550 paracord.
