Kaweco’s Brass Sport ballpoint pen is immediately recognizable with its characteristic octagonal shape, which was first introduced in 1935. It has the kind of charm that never goes out of style. The chunky yet elegant design is also practical, as the octagonal cross-section lets the pen sit flat on a table without rolling away.
Weighing in at 34 grams, the ballpoint pen has a nice substantial feel in the hand and is comfortable to write with. It’s a push button retractable pen, featuring the Kaweco logo in metal on the button. The pen came loaded with the Kaweco Soul 1.0 ballpoint refill in blue but accepts any standard D1 size refills.
The uncoated brass looks and feels great and naturally ages to a rich patina over time. The Kaweco Brass Sport ballpoint pen is a terrific writing instrument for everyday use.

It looks really good. On your last photo it looks quite shiny. Is there some sort of lacquer on the push knob?
No, the brass parts have no coating.
Really need one of these in my life. Love the site.
Thank you, David!
Where did you get yours? I got one from Amazon and the push knob is super shiny and is missing the nice rounded edges that yours has
Hi John! I got mine from mostwanted-pens.com.
