This is MecArmy’s second miniature compass that is enclosed in a brass housing. I reviewed their first model a couple of months ago. Instead of a teardrop-shaped housing, this one comes with a more sophisticated design that was obviously inspired by vintage mechanical instruments.
The actual compass is the same as in the old model. It provides reasonable accuracy but is far from being a precision instrument. You can attach it to your keychain or wear it around your neck with the included bead chain. The four letters N, E, S, W, and the little square above the N glow in the dark, which makes the device usable in low-light conditions.
